Chartered in 1922, the Durham Regional Association of REALTORS® has served the real estate interest of our members and community for decades. More than 1,700 members support our mission and responsibility to promote and protect the American dream of private property ownership. We promote the image of REALTORS® as valuable professionals essential to the real estate transaction and dream of homeownership.
Expansive Jurisdiction: DRAR covers six counties in the Northern Triangle Area of North Carolina: Durham, Person, Vance, Franklin, Granville and Warren Counties.
Mission: To provide members with education and resources that will enable them to enhance professional growth and prosperity, to promote and enforce ethical standards and to be a continuing source of information concerning issues impacting real estate: thereby encouraging and protecting private property rights.

Professional Development: We proved education that gives our members expertise on industry issues, technology and community awareness assuring successful outcomes with clients and customers. A leading provider of Continuing Education classes, DRAR offers online CE combined with a wide array of classroom topics with talented instructors on a monthly basis. We offer many relevant, complimentary events as part of membership.
Government Affairs Program: Protecting private property rights and the best interest of our members is the foundation of our mission and objectives. DRAR monitors legislative and regulatory issues to foster economic development and a pro-business environment conducive to the real estate profession. Annual meetings with elected officials allows members to share their view and opinions on relevant issues and legislation.
Communication & Networking: Timely updates on events and real estate issues are published weekly in the electronic publication of REALTalk and on our social media. Our member networking events include membership luncheons, including the annual REALTOR® of the Year Luncheon, complimentary social gatherings, and other special programs to interact. Member engagement on committees enables participants to interact and maintain an active membership that helps bring the association’s mission to life.
