Celebration of Welsford Artz

Welsford had been a member of DRAR for 34 years, affiliated with the BHHS office in Durham. He passed peacefully today, February 10, 2023, at his home. Our heartfelt condolences to his wife Sarah, his family, friends, and colleagues.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Welsford’s honor can be sent to the Gates County Historical Society, to Barbara Wiant (P.O. Box 134, Gatesville NC 27938), or to the Walk for Hope.
