Guest Speaker: DREW CUMMINGS, County Manager, Granville Board of Commissioners
Drew began his tenure with Granville on Oct 17, 2022 after 14 years as the Assistant County Manager and Chief of Staff in the Manager’s Office of Durham. Preceding that, Cummings held several positions in municipal government and worked for 7 years as a middle school teacher.
As County Manager, Drew ensures all ordinances and policies of the Board of Commissioners are implemented; makes recommendations on business matters; recommends an annual budget; and keeps the Board informed on the County’s financial condition.
Drew serves in the official capacity of budget officer, personnel officer, and purchasing official.
