DESCRIPTION:Nominations for the 2021 Awards may be submitted in writing no later than 5:00pm on Monday\, October 18th to DRAR office or email Shelia Willis at shelia@durhamrealtors.org \n2021 REALTOR® of the Year AwardGiven annually to an active REALTOR® member who has demonstrated a history of leadership within our profession\, including NCAR and NAR\, and is a leader in civic affairs and has a record of exemplary professional accomplishment. This award is designed to be given to a member who embodies the ideals of the REALTOR® spirit and has given over a long period of time\, service to this Association above and beyond the ordinary call of duty. \n2021 Service Award\nGiven annually to an active REALTOR® member who has given over a long period of time service to the Association above and beyond the ordinary call of duty. It is hoped that this award will help recognize some of the unselfish giving of time and energy by members of the DRAR who have not been singled out and recognized through the receipt of the REALTOR® of the Year award. \n2021 Affiliate/Associate of the Year\nThis award is designed to identify an active affiliate or associate member of the DRAR who has given service to this Association above and beyond the ordinary call of duty. It is hoped that this will help to recognize some the unselfish giving of time and energy by affiliate members of the association. \n2021 Citizenship Award\nGiven annually to an active REALTOR® who deserves recognition due to their contributions to the betterment of our community through outstanding public service. Community service\, volunteer work and public service are considered in recognizing the individual that exemplifies the dedication of the individual.
